The French executive, who previously served as CEO of Givenchy and Dior Americas (LVMH), now oversees the fashion and beauty divisions of the Puig-owned house.
"After many enriching years with L’Oreal and LVMH, I am delighted to have joined Puig as President One Rabanne, leading both Fashion and Fragrance activities," said de Lesquen on his LinkedIn page. "Fragrance was one of my ’premières amours’, so returning to it today, while continuing to embrace the fashion side, feels especially meaningful."
In his new role, Renaud de Lesquen will be tasked with expanding Rabanne’s couture business to establish the house as a complete luxury platform, extending its vision across a wider product range while reinforcing synergies between fashion and fragrance. He brings to the role his experience at Givenchy and deep expertise in perfumery.
"Rabanne is a Maison like no other: bold, expressive, mythical, and forever playing with creative boundaries. And, behind the energy we all love, lies a fascinating heritage, rich in layers and nuances that the world has yet to fully discover," explained de Lesquen on his LinkedIn page.
A graduate of ESCP Business School, de Lesquen began his career at L’Oréal in 1993, where he spent more than 18 years in a range of executive roles in France and internationally, including in the United States with Lancôme and in Japan with Helena Rubinstein.
He joined LVMH in 2012 as President China for Dior Couture and Parfums. In 2016, he was appointed President and CEO North America of Dior, before becoming President and CEO of Dior Americas in 2019. He then joined Givenchy in Paris in 2020 as President and CEO.
