Premium Beauty News - The luxury sector is in a globally complex situation. How is PVL Beauté doing?

Jean Stanislas Orlowski - In 2025, we managed to maintain our growth momentum at over 6% compared to 2024, without much visibility from the markets. This performance is due both to how our teams are structured and to our multiple major launches, in particular in the complexion category, which significantly contributed to increasing our turnover: it reached over 20 million dollars in 2025 and should rise up to 22 million dollars in 2026.

Premium Beauty News - How is the company’s business structured?

Jean Stanislas Orlowski - The design office and operations team are centralised in Paris: this is where we manage design, industrial coordination, logistics, quality control, invoicing, and customer relationship. We also have offices in Taiwan for operations monitoring, because production is mainly carried out by a network of plant partners in Asia. Metal parts, whether made from aluminium, steel, or Zamak, are manufactured by our long-standing partner in China, while our partner in Thailand performs mechanism manufacturing and primary packaging for sticks.

We also work with European partners, including a plastic plant in Portugal and a Zamak injection plant in France.

Premium Beauty News - How do you define PVL Beauté’s product range?

Jean Stanislas Orlowski - PVL Beauté’s know-how covers the development and manufacturing of packaging for sticks, lipsticks, foundations and solid perfumes, for example, with solutions that meet diverse requirements when it comes to dimensions, shapes, and technical performance. We step in upstream, as soon as the design and engineering phases, and then we monitor production and quality, which also involves implementing corrective measures, logistics and invoicing, taking into account exchange rate issues.

In addition, we develop caps for perfumes and wines & spirits, ceramic jars, as well as travel-size perfume sprays: demand is booming in this category.

For complex projects, we coordinate our partners to act as a single point of contact for our clients.

Premium Beauty News - You are widely known for your Zamak solutions. Can you tell us how you advocate this material in terms of sustainability?

Jean Stanislas Orlowski - Zamak is part of PVL Beauté’s DNA: we do maintain this expertise and advocate the use of this material, because it perfectly meets technical and CSR requirements in the luxury world. We actually have a production tool in France. In 2024, we had already organised a round table with other industry players to objectively discuss its recyclability and correct a few common misconceptions. Obviously, as it is composed of 95% of zinc, Zamak is fully recyclable. The deviations observed were mainly due to a lack of information in LCA databases. A correction process has been initiated, which is a good thing, but the updates are not fully integrated yet, so we are waiting for that to get results consistent with the products developed. Substitution solutions like injected aluminium do not tick all the boxes. Zamak is still the best-adapted material in the market, so we aim to put it back to the core of production practices, while including other alternatives, depending on clients’ needs.

Premium Beauty News - What are your main markets?

Jean Stanislas Orlowski - We work both with major international groups and niche brands, mainly in France and Europe. We are considering opening sales offices in the Middle East or in the US, to be able to broaden our presence on the global stage.

Premium Beauty News - Speaking of which, what are your plans for 2026?

Jean Stanislas Orlowski - Our priority is to support the positive turn taken by our clients when it comes to CSR, with increasingly demanding charters on materials and their origins. As regards metal, we have been developing solutions made from low-carbon or recycled aluminium, and enhancing our capability to provide reliable certifications, building on our partnerships in Asia. That is key for our range of materials. We constantly search for innovative or alternative materials to replace those whose end-of-life is already planned.

When it comes to products, we will further improve our offering and broaden our range by integrating lip glosses, makeup cases and metal applicators, and meet the rising demand for travel sprays.

As an external design and development partner, our goal is to ensure client satisfaction. We act as an additional resource for our clients. Beyond a purely business-oriented role, we position ourselves as a trusted partner, able to support projects from start to finish with a consistent level of commitment.
