The 2014 editions of MakeUp in Seoul, MakeUp in Paris and MakeUp in New York, the three tradeshows dedicated to the suppliers of the makeup brands, have already reach a good record in terms of exhibitors, according to Beauteam, the organiser.

About 30 exhibitors in Seoul

The first edition of Seoul is poised to exceed all its founders. “Figures in terms of number of exhibitors and show floor will exceed those recorded for the first Paris edition (2010) and New-York edition (2011),” emphasised Jean-Yves Bourgeois, from Beauteam. “There is a sheer enthusiasm coming from both the first exhibitors whether European or Korean but also from managers in leading local and international brands.

Thus, MakeUp in Seoul should bring together as of its very first edition on 13 and 14 March next year at the Conrad Hotel, thirty Korean and foreign exhibitors, including: CTK, FS Korea, Hwa Sung, Samhwa Plastic, Intercos, United Brands Marketing Gmbh, Weckerle, B.Kolormakeup, Geka, Fiabila, Oekabeauty, Gotha Cosmetics, Art Cosmetics, Sleever International, ABC Texture, Alkos Group, Ancorotti Group, DaeHyun Ltd, Schwan Cosmetics, Pump Tech, Tae Jin, and Unipack Korea.

Paris: 20% of additional show floor!

With 20% of additional surface, the 12-13 June 2014 edition in Paris is to date almost sold out. Nearly a hundred exhibitors are expected at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, that is, a dozen more than the previous year. “We’re nearly sold out”, explained Sandra Maguarian, from Beauteam. “Registrations from newcomers were carefully studied by taking into consideration the relevance and quality of their product offering. As we have always said, the concept of the event and its credibility stand in the quality of the offer but also its uniqueness.

New York on the rise

As for MakeUp in New York (23 - 24 septembre 2014
Center548), the number of participants is expected to increase by 20% too. “A deliberately controlled increase,” pointed out Sandra Maguarian from Beauteam, “to preserve the event’s convivial and intimate character that made it successful.” According to the organisers, many newcomers from Europe and Asia have pre-registered to the show, thus enhancing the international character of the event, but the bulk of exhibitors, which is steadily increasing each year, is indeed represented by North American firms.
