A leading global speciality chemicals distributor is seeking a Principal Manager for their Beauty & Personal Care division. In this commercially-focused role, you will manage key supplier relationships, drive commercial growth, and provide technical expertise across the UK & Ireland, working from home with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with Key Principal suppliers in the UK
- Promote and sell the raw material/ingredient portfolios into UK customers
- Deliver technical expertise, training and product insight to internal teams and clients
- Identify and convert new commercial opportunities with sales teams
- Oversee stock, purchasing and working capital to meet commercial targets
- Analyse data, prepare sales reports, and present insights to stakeholders
- Support product campaigns, market mapping and digital marketing initiatives
- Champion commercial strategy, ensuring product lines meet revenue and margin goals
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong commercial and technical background in the UK Beauty Market
- Proven relationship builder with confident supplier and customer facing skills
- Chemistry/business degree or demonstrable chemical sector experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
