Line Daigneau is joining PRAD, a French-based company specializing in high-end and made in France glass and aluminium decors, as its new Sales Director.

In this role, her mission is to develop PRAD’s activities in the perfumes and cosmetics sector in France an in Europe, building on her 20 years of experience in the beauty and luxury businesses (Cosmogen, Qualipack, Groupe Clarins, Ch. Wauters & Fils).

"I am happy to join PRAD, whose industrial activity is carried out near Valence (South of France). I share the values of its CEO and owner for 5 years, Bruno Pierrain, who made the strategic choice to decorate only infinitely recyclable containers, such as metal and glass. The last investments have strongly reduced the environmental footprint of the decoration processes, including metallization, and offer many options at a very high level of quality. I met a highly involved team, that is always ready to provide a solution. PRAD supplies major brands. I aim to go further and make know this French know-how," she said.

High-end decoration on glass and aluminium

Founded in 1972, PRAD is located in La Roche-de-Glun, one hour South of Lyon, France, and employs 45 staffs. The company provides key decoration technologies, including liquid metallization, lacquering, laser finishing and silk screening, pad printing and hot stamping.

As PRAD’s flagship technology, liquid metallization provides a full or partial metal look, many metallic shades and endless options of transparency and colour shading. It has been developed on a specific, dust-free line thanks to a mastered and environment-friendly process.

Lacquering modifies any kind of surface by its appearance (shine, matt, satin), its countless colours, its special effects (nacre, iridescent, metallic) and also gives singular touch effects (smooth, soft, grainy).

Laser finishing completes the metallization with lace-like cut-outs and chiselled engravings, for very fine decorations and plays of light.

Silk screening, pad printing and hot stamping are combined to highlight high-precision texts and drawings on all material.

"By taking over PRAD, I had the ambition to invest myself in a company at a human scale. I had in mind to maintain a social dialogue leading to innovation and continuous improvement, to develop the skills of the team, and to have a French and high-performance industrial tool that is competitive and respectful of the environment. Over time, our development requires the creation of the Sales Department to strengthen our relations with our customers in France and in Europe. I entrusted this mission to Line Daigneau. We share values that are dear to PRAD: respect, solidarity, and eco-responsibility,” underlined Bruno Pierrain, PRAD’s Chairman & CEO.

Chanel, Coach, Diptyque, Lalique, Sisley and many other prestigious beauty brands are among PRAD’s references. The company has been awarded EcoVadis’ Silver level and participates in the Industry of the future 2.0 program of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
