Californian masstige skincare and beauty brand Physicians Formula has entered into a definitive merger agreement with Swander Pace Capital, a private equity firm specializing in buyouts of growth-oriented consumer products companies based in North America.
The Physicians Formula’s Board of Directors, unanimously approved the agreement and recommended that the company’s shareholders vote to adopt the merger. Upon close of the transaction, which is expected later this year, Physicians Formula will continue to be operated by its current management team and employees.
