The Personal Care Products Council (PCPC), the leading trade association representing the cosmetic and personal care products industry in the U.S., is requesting public comments on its revised guideline regarding identification methods of certain microorganisms. The document, “M-2 Examination for and Identification of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Candida albicans” updates the 2007 version and now covers the identification of Candida albicans.
