On November 18th and 23rd 2021, the cosmetics and wellness industries will be at the heart of the second Panda Meetings, offering a new way to approach exporting on the highly explosive Chinese digital market (2,000 billion online sales last year): bringing together Chinese digital agencies at one end, and brands or cosmetics & wellness manufacturers at the other eager to export through this incredible channel.
Panda Meetings propose a trio of events:
training on the Chinese digital market (from November 10th to 17th);
a webinar on November 18th dedicated to cosmetics on the Chinese digital market (feedback, financial, technical, and regulatory experts), organized in partnership with Premium Beauty News;
and finally, a day of online business meetings on November 23rd. These double opt-in video-meetings will allow qualified partners to establish new fruitful business relationships.
"For this second edition, we hope to bring together around one hundred companies made up of 80 cosmetics & wellness brands and manufacturers, and twenty agencies specializing in the Chinese online market," says Betty Touzeau, General Manager, and co-founder of the company.
The operation is free of charge for cosmetics & wellness brands and manufacturers, excluding training courses.
For this second edition, the Panda Meetings team has been joined by two new experts: Maggie Wen, who worked for six years at the US Administration International Commerce Department in Shanghai, and Yu Zhong, a specialist in Chinese digital marketing.
The first edition of Panda Meetings took place on June 24th. It brought together around 100 participants (60 brands, 12 agencies), with, among others, the participation of representatives from Alibaba and Tencent. "This first edition allowed us to test our technical platform and the interest of both parties in this business meeting model," says Betty Touzeau.
This first edition resulted in more than 150 business meetings. The next edition "beauty & wellness" should allow more than 250 business meetings to help brands conquer market shares via digital marketing in China.
