A leading force in the French dietary supplements market, Olyos Group has announced the acquisition of Italian brand Somatoline. The deal marks a key step in the group’s growth strategy, establishing a strong foothold in dermo-cosmetics and reinforcing its European presence, particularly in Italy.

Ranked fifth in France’s pharmacy and parapharmacy food supplements market with its Granions and Drasanvi brands, Olyos Group combines nutritional and dermo-cosmetic expertise to deliver a holistic approach to well-being. With projected sell-out growth of 34% in 2025, the group is the most dynamic player in the French market for the third consecutive year, according to IQVIA [1] data.

Already a specialist in beauty and slimming food supplements in France [2], the group is expanding its offering in this field to include cosmetics.

Founded in Italy in 1973 and established in France since 2008, Somatoline is a benchmark brand in slimming and premium body care. Ranked number one in pharmacies [3] in its segment and distributed across several European countries through local partners, it provides Olyos Group with a strategic platform in Europe’s leading natural health market. The integration paves the way for a powerful “In & Out” proposition, combining ingestible supplements that work from within with topical dermo-cosmetic skincare solutions applied to the skin.

This acquisition marks a major milestone in our strategy,” said Thierry Verne, Chairman and CEO of Olyos Group. “By bringing together our leadership in beauty supplements and Somatoline’s dermo-cosmetic expertise, we are reinforcing our position in Europe and creating a distinctive, comprehensive offering for both consumers and pharmacists.

Following the transaction, the group’s total revenue now exceeds EUR 200 million.
