Since the 1th of October 2013, Oekametall have restructured their divisions Oekabeauty, Oekatech, Oekamed and clearly defined their three market segments.

Oekabeauty is a preferred supplier to numerous international cosmetic brands, covering a wide range from mass market to luxury market products. Oekatech, the technical division, could denote a growing demand in automotive and technical components. Oekamed, the third and recent division, purposefully contribute their knowledge in the ever-expanding medical and especially the endoscopic sector,” explains the company in a statement.

New technical manager

For this reason the company has also expanded its management. Erwin Görtler was appointed new technical manager and head of the technical departments. His missions encompass: project management, engineering, tool-shop, special purpose tooling and production. “His know-how and experience in cosmetic packaging is a benefit for the Oekabeauty division,” adds the company.

New projects and product developments let Oekabeauty look into the future with confidence. The company has gained several new named customers within the past months, especially with its offer of mascara packaging, mascara brushes and lip gloss applicators.

According to the company, these good results are based on its customer orientation, and fast-to-the-market philosophy and innovation strategy.

Further investments

To increase production capacity Oekabeauty invested into a new flexible and fast convertible assembly line for lip gloss and mascara packaging. The machine will improve the company’s zero-defect strategy.

Oekabeauty is the manufacturer of the recently launched L’Oréal Paris mascara “False Lash Butterfly - Midnight Blacks” in four different glossy cap colours and seven language versions.

Thanks to an experienced project team a high flexibility and accurate realization of the different projects is guaranteed, and an internal creative department develops innovative solutions for new cosmetic products,” details the company.

Injection moulding, injection blow-moulding, brush production and production of flocked lipgloss applicators are offered as an in-house production, all of them being Made in Germany. Also special surface coatings and decorations like lacquering, metallization, hot-foil printing and pad printing are part of the range. Standard containers, as well as customized solutions are also part of Oekabeauty’s range of products.
