After acquiring design agency Centdegrés in July 2025, Innovative Beauty Group (IBG) added Fine Makers to its portfolio in September, thus reinforcing its presence in the prestige and luxury segment. Together, these acquisitions expand IBG’s creative capabilities and allow the group to deliver an even more complete range of solutions to beauty brands across the globe.

Given the rapid pace at which consumer trends are evolving — making it increasingly difficult for companies to adapt — it is timely to propose a new kind of strategic partnership aimed at developing agile solutions in an ultra-volatile beauty market,” says Xavier Leclerc de Hauteclocque, CEO of IBG.

High-end segments

With deep roots in the discount, mass and masstige markets, IBG is now poised to tap into the expertise of both agencies to fast-track its development across the premium, prestige, and luxury categories.

In a world saturated with brands, desirability has become a key factor in building a successful brand,” explains Elie Papiernik, co-founder of Centdegrés. “The merger with IBG enables us to seamlessly unite our brand and product development cultures, creating a unique continuity between these two pillars of success — something unmatched anywhere else,” he continues.

Evolving the model, expanding the space

Through this integration, IBG broadens its business model, going beyond turnkey product design to deliver strategic insight, innovation capabilities, and range development customized for every market landscape.

We define ourselves as both brand builders and brand boosters,” emphasizes Xavier Leclerc de Hauteclocque. “Brand builders, because we can create a brand from the ground up, when needed; and brand boosters, because we have complete mastery of the key elements that energize a brand and sustain its desirability throughout its lifecycle.

IBG, which generated 350 million euros (about 403 million US dollars) in revenue over the last 12 months ending August 2025, an increase of +17%, has relocated its Paris headquarters to new premises in the 17th arrondissement, expanding from 500 to 1,500 square meters.

The new premises, sized to accommodate the group’s anticipated growth, include a 560 sqm creative space bringing together a customizable showroom, and design and lab facilities, as well as a 1,000m2 floor that houses project management teams, cross-functional teams and the top management.

The workspaces have been designed to break down silos and promote agile, cross-functional collaboration for each client, with the aim of reducing development cycles and accelerating time to market.

Brand incubator

Complementing IBG’s ambitions is the IBG Lab brand incubator, focused on launching and scaling owned brands in untapped or underserved markets in North America and Europe.

Led by Youri Vaisse, the team crafts comprehensive brand strategies, driving growth and preparing each brand for its eventual market success or sale.

Logically, IBG steps into its new dimension with a new visual identity and logo, brought to life by Centdegrés!
