Nestlé has somewhat lifted the veil on its intentions in the field of skin care. The Swiss group has confirmed its ambition to expand its activities in this field through the creation of Nestlé Skin Health S.A. The announced goal is to meet the growing global demand for skin health by offering a wide range of innovative and scientifically proven products.

The recent creation of Nestlé Health Science S.A. and the Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences reinforced this strategic direction and focus on helping consumers lead a healthier life through nutritional solutions from food and beverages to life-enhancing scientific products,” Nestlé says.

The newly created Nestlé Skin Health S.A. will be managed as a wholly-owned Nestlé subsidiary with its own Board of Directors and headquarters located in Lausanne. Galderma, which Nestlé has just acquired from L’Oréal, will form the initial basis of the new entity. Nestlé will also merge its current Bübchen baby skin care business with Nestlé Skin Health S.A.
