In July, in Shanghai, Silab won the Ringier Award for its repairing natural active ingredient Neolipyl, in the Moisturising & Repairing category.

This marks Neolipyl’s third award since its launch in June 2025.

Just weeks after being honored at the PCHi Fountain Awards, Neolipyl received an ICIC Award in April in the Science-Technology Innovative Ingredient Benchmark category at the International Cosmetics Innovation Conference (ICIC) in Shanghai.

“Receiving three prizes for the same active ingredient is particularly rewarding! The strength of Neolipyl lies, on the one hand, in the robustness of its scientific evidence and, on the other hand, in its rapid efficacy, demonstrated in comparison or in combination with reference molecules. Indeed, the active ingredient provides hydrating and smoothing niacinamide-like benefits in dry skin, and acts as a true partner of retinol in normal skin,” commented Brigitte Closs-Gonthier, Chief Executive Officer at Silab.

Neolipyl is a patented active ingredient recommended in all cares intended for the skin barrier and dry skin.

For the development of this active ingredient, Silab implemented a novel modeling study by leveraging its dual expertise in omics technologies, especially through lipidomic study, and optical biopsies. It enabled the lipid signature of dry skin to be established for the first time.
