The Paint Can requires users to sweep a quick layer of basecoat over the nails before spraying the colour over the fingertips from a distance of 10-15cm, leaving the pigmentation to adhere to the basecoat. According to the brand, a quick rinse with warm, soapy water should then ensure that any excess colour is washed off from around the fingers and nail bed, leaving an even coating of polish. Nails Inc. is branding the product “the World’s fastest manicure”.
“After years in the making I am incredibly excited to be launching the Paint Can. Our customers have been screaming out for ways to reduce dry time and for quick, easy ways to apply colour when on the go,” explains Nails Inc. Founder Thea Green on the brand’s site.
The invention is currently available to pre-order at nails.inc.com in two different shades - “Shoreditch Lane”, a mid-grey hue, and “Hoxton Market”, a deep pink. The retail price is £10 (approximately US$15 or EUR14).
