November sees the launch of the new bath collection from Marionnaud, one of the leading European cosmetics and beauty retailer. The range consists of over fifty bath and body products, including shower gels, shower creams, bath oils, soaps, body and hand creams. Built around five uniquely commissioned fragrances, and including additional limited edition fragrance lines, the new Marionnaud bath collection will be available in all the company’s stores throughout Europe.

London agency Biles Inc. was asked to develop and visually express a packaging proposition around the notion of ‘collection’. Featuring fragrance numbers assigned by the perfumery, the range gives a nod to classic Parisian perfume packaging. To reinforce this vintage look, Biles took inspiration from Art Nouveau bottles and used fretwork and filigree derived from those found on old packaging. The patterns on boxes and jars were achieved through embossing and frosting. For the bespoke bottle shapes, Biles also drew inspiration from vintage flask style perfume bottles.
