For its 30th anniversary, the luxury perfume and cosmetics distribution company and subsidiary of the AS Watson group is highlighting its French origins by becoming Marionnaud Paris. The distributor and owner of over 1,000 stores in Europe (including 521 in France) seems to aim at enhancing its image, especially abroad. The company undertook a vast renovation project for all its stores in 2011, which culminated when the store on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées was transformed into a temple of “Haussmannian elegance”.

Apart from the name change, the company will host several events in the French capital. Customers will try and win one year of makeup by participating in a competition, or closely following the brand’s social network accounts.

Besides, a Marionnaud Beauty Truck will travel around Paris from September 25 to October 4 to offer customized skincare treatments, applications of nail varnish, or makeup flashes.
