MakeUp in Paris opens Thursday with a record number of exhibitors

The 6th edition of MakeUp in Paris will open its doors on 18-19 June 2015 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France. This year, the B2B event dedicated to the makeup industry will welcome a record number of exhibitors, from ingredients and packaging suppliers to fillers and formulators, and not forgetting manufacturers of accessories.

In parallel to exhibitors, the number of pre-registered visitors also sharply grew to reach about 3,500 persons, according to the organisers, just six days before the show. "This new 2015 edition promises to be a great time! Not only by the quality and variety of suppliers but also by the influx of requests to visitors from around the world,” they said in a release.

Once again this year, the participation of ingredients suppliers within the MakeUPigments area is getting stronger. Specifically dedicated to ingredients, the area will host BASF, CODIF, Merck, Oleos, Sensient, Sollice Biotech and Univar.

The numerous conferences will deal about a large span of topics, including the new challenges linked to the use of electronic devices and big data, as well as focuses on the beauty market in Korea, in Brazil and in the UK.
