The show can stand on the dynamism of the beauty industry on the other side of the Atlantic. Concerning the United States and according to the NPD Group, the Prestige beauty market experienced a 7% growth in 2015, driven by makeup products (+ 13%). Regarding Mexico and its 120 million inhabitants, the country has not only become a subcontracting base for US Beauty manufacturers, just like Canada, but Mexican women are increasingly fond of makeup products, particularly mascaras and eyeshadows. Worth 7.7 billion euros, the Mexican beauty market is not to be overlooked...

The conference program will bring together no less than 28 speakers.

Once again, the organisers of MakeUp in NewYork also offer a rich conference program spread over two days to the 2,500 visitors expected. The conferences will bring together no less than 28 speakers with the main highlights featuring:

An update of the "makeup" dynamics in the US and the major changes generated by online sales, the impact of social networks, the gathering momentum of these famous "Indie Brands" and the influence of "Latin" consumers.
A conference dedicated to dark skins, where emphasis will be placed on the challenges faced by formulators in the development of makeup products for these skin types.
Special focuses on two countries which, in their own way, are influencing the United States, namely Mexico as an industrial platform and a big consumer of makeup products but also the UK with its current issues and especially its future challenges.

The event will also be an opportunity for the teams of the L’Oréal Group and of Maybelline to present their strategies, and in particular their "Open Innovation Strategy".
