Founded in 2018 by Thibaud Crivelli, Maison Crivelli has reached a new milestone in its meteoric rise with the opening of its first standalone boutique on September 19 at 314 rue Saint-Honoré in Paris, France. Now present in 822 points of sale across 67 countries, the independent fragrance house has created a dedicated retail space designed to fully express its creative universe.
Conceived as a "perfume agora," the boutique breaks away from conventional fragrance retail by prioritizing sensory exploration and encouraging visitors to take time with each discovery. "The goal wasn’t to create yet another perfume shop on a street already full of them, but to offer a place for olfactory immersion and dialogue," Thibaud Crivelli told Premium Beauty News.
On the ground floor, visitors are invited to explore the collection through guided consultations, accompanied by a notebook designed to capture olfactory impressions and personal preferences. The space is defined by the brand’s signature terracotta palette, while a library displaying the founder’s personal objects and travel mementos reflects the lived experiences – "rather than abstract concepts” – that inspire Maison Crivelli’s fragrances.
Upstairs, a private lounge extends the immersive experience through sensory exploration boxes combining materials, objects, colours, and bespoke soundscapes created for each fragrance. The space also hosts one-to-one consultations.
The boutique will serve as the main showcase for both the house’s latest launches and its full fragrance portfolio. Oud Cadenza Extrait, previously exclusive to Harrods, will now be available alongside the complete collection, including Hibiscus Mahajád, the brand’s bestseller accounting for around 40% of sales, and Oud Maracujá, which Maison Crivelli describes as “the first fruity oud fragrance.”
Still independently owned by its founder, Maison Crivelli employs 130 people worldwide. The UK remains its largest market, followed by continental Europe and the Middle East.
After posting 125% growth in 2025, the company expects to maintain high double-digit growth in 2026. While additional standalone stores are under consideration, no expansion roadmap has yet been finalized, as the company intends to first assess the performance of its inaugural boutique.
