Bambuser, a startup specialized in Live Stream Shopping, scooped the 2021 LVMH Innovation Award, which was announced at the Viva Technology show, held on 15-19 June 2021 in Paris, France. Bambuser helps brands host live shopping sessions online, with influencers or sales associates. These shows are hosted natively on the brands’ websites, enabling them to own the look and feel of the experience and manage conversations, data and check-out. The start-up’s portfolio of clients includes Parfums Christian Dior and Make Up For Ever.

Bambuser will have the opportunity to benefit from a 6-month personalized support as part of LVMH’s accelerator program, “La Maison des Startups”, which has been based at the Station F startup campus in Paris since 2018.

For the past five years the LVMH Innovation Award has drawn applications from hundreds of startups. This year over 850 applications were reviewed. For the 2021 edition, 28 startups representing 12 different countries were shortlisted as finalists.

Six start-ups received awards in the different categories: Data & Artificial Intelligence, Employee Experience, Media & Brand Awareness, Omnichannel & Retail Experience, Operations & Manufacturing Excellence, and Sustainability. Bambuser was chosen as the overall winner by Bernard Arnault, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Toni Belloni, LVMH Group Managing Director, and the members of the selection committee.
