Lipotec has created Delisens and Telangyn, two synthetic peptides designed to address the problems of sensitive skins. Delisens is a hexapeptide and Telangyn a tetrapeptide.

Telangyn is designed to protect the skin against exogenous factors causing redness. It reduces the liberation of interleukins (IL-6 and IL-8) involved in the inflammatory process. It also has an anti-collagenase activity. In vivo test for 28 days with two daily applications of a cream containing 2% Telangyn, Lipotec was a decrease of 7.5% of the intensity of redness. Assets are intended for skin prone to rosacea.

As for Delisens, it is designed for sensitive and allergic skins but with no visible external signs. Delisens decreases the activity of PAR-2, the proteases receptor involved in the process of neurogenic inflammation (substance P and CGRP) and in the production of Interleukins IL-6 and IL-8 as well as in the weakening of the skin’s barrier function. Delisens acts on the site of the protease by blocking it. Results of in vitro and in vivo tests show a clear decrease in uncomfortable sensations usually observed with allergic and reactive skins (tightness, dryness, shooting pains).

Considering that according to dermatologists, between 50 and 60% of people have an allergic and/or reactive skin, these two products seem to meet current needs.
