Lindal opens new Brazil production facility

Anticipating accelerated growth in Brazil and South America, the Lindal Group, a leading provider of aerosol packaging technology, has opened its Itupeva facility in Sao Paulo, which is more than twice the size of its Jundiai area plant.

Headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, the Lindal Group develops and manufactures valves, actuators and spray caps for aerosol products used in pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food applications.

Our new operation in Itupeva represents additional space in terms of total land, injection molding, assembly, warehousing, maintenance and general operations, offices, lab and service support,” said Moacir Camargo, Lindal Brazil’s Managing Director. “In addition to overall economic expansion throughout the region, the growth of the Brazilian beauty market alone (7.3 percent in 2011) will boost demand for our innovative aerosol solutions at a time of rising disposable income,” he said.
