Leveraging its expertise in fermented ingredients for the nutrition and health sectors, Lesaffre is tapping into the cosmetic and personal care markets through a brand new dedicated branch named Innosya Cosmetic Ingredients. The first products will be unveiled during the in-cosmetics Global trade show in April 2026, in Paris.
With Innosya, Lesaffre aims to become a recognized player in the B2B cosmetics market by 2030, offering a comprehensive range of patented fermentation-based ingredients, with a particular focus on supporting skin aging.
Lesaffre seeks to draw on more than 170 years of expertise in fermentation and microorganisms to deliver innovative, sustainable cosmetic ingredients. According to the company, fermented ingredients represent an eco-friendly, effective, and high-quality solution that can complement or even replace traditional components derived from petrochemicals.
“We aim to become a trusted partner to cosmetics industry players, supporting them in transitioning to more innovative sustainable practices. This strategic alignment between Lesaffre’s capabilities, its mission, and the evolving priorities of the cosmetics industry makes us confident that Innosya can play a key role in the years to come," says Brice-Audren Riché, CEO of Lesaffre.
Innosya will offer tailored solutions that align with the specific standards of the cosmetics sector, thanks to a team of experts based near Paris. A dedicated formulation laboratory has been established, enabling the team to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific demands of stakeholders in the cosmetics sector.
“We look forward to engaging with industry stakeholders to present our product portfolio at this year’s In-Cosmetics trade show and collaboratively shape the future of beauty through fermented solutions,” adds Bénédicte Toulemonde, Business Development Director of Innosya.
