LCE, a French company specialised in packaging sachets for cosmetics, perfumes, hygiene products, and even food products, recently equipped its Carros 2 production site with two new laminar flow machines installed in rooms separated and isolated from the rest of the production. The aim is to be able to fill and pack highly sensitive formulations.

"For us it is a commitment to excellence," says Anne Marie Chapot, Sales Manager. "Feedbacks from our customers show that some products require more and more caution. The formulations developed by our customers are increasingly innovative and sophisticated. It becomes important for us to fill in products in an environment complying with the highest hygienic standards that are imperative requirements."

LCE is also preparing to the July 2013 deadline and the entry into force of the European Regulation on cosmetic products [1]. Like many others, LCE will have to demonstrate its correct enforcement of cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). "A preliminary audit has confirmed the implementation progress of this new standard within our company. We shall take advantage of the few remaining months before the deadline to finalize the implementation. Our teams, at all position levels, are highly involved in this stringent process, and have already benefited from numerous training," explains Anne Marie Chapot.
