L’Oréal announced today that its US subsidiary has acquired Maly’s Midwest and Marshall Salon Services, two companies that supply over 40,000 hair salons across 8 states in the Middle West with a network of 120 representatives and 90 stores, open only to professionals.

With these two acquisitions, the SalonCentric division of L’Oréal USA is extending its network, which now covers 80% of the territory of the United States,” said the company in a release.

Maly’s Midwest and Marshall Salon Services supply; together represent sales of about US$130m in 2009.
