Istanbul’s Beauty & Care tradeshow goes international

The 23rd edition of Beauty & Care, which took place from 12 to 15 March 2015 in Istanbul, at the Istanbul Congress Center and Lütfi Kirdar Exhibition Center, hosted 518 brands from 18 countries and welcomed 19.236 visitors, announced the organizers.

This represents 11% increase compared to 2014’s figures,” said Yesim Avunduk - General Manager - Fiera Milano Interteks. “On the other hand our main focus remains quality. With the merge with Fiera Milano, we started an internationalization process aimed at bringing Beauty & Care, the reference quality event for local and regional beauty industry, to an international standard, able to attract more and more foreign companies to the flourishing Turkish market”.

Founded in 1991 and already well established in the region, the show intends to become a key event for European and international beauty and personal care companies.

Brands attending this 23rd edition thus had the opportunity to meet international buyers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Greece, Italy, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Algeria, Russia, Moldavia, Jordan, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, and Lebanon. Beauty & Care international B2B matching program enabled several appointments between exhibitors, buyers and key regional distributing companies.
