The organisers of in-cosmetics have announced that the 2016 event in Paris (12-14 April 2016, Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles) will feature two new workshops: a Formulation Lab and Sensory Bar.

The Formulation Lab was successfully launched at in-cosmetics Asia 2014

In response to growing demand for direct interaction and hands-on knowledge transfer, the B2B show dedicated to personal care ingredients will thus give visitors hands-on experience and access to demonstration-style sessions.

At the Formulation Lab, an animation launched during in-cosmetics Asia 2014, visitors will benefit from expert advices into a purpose-built laboratory on the show floor, featuring benches and a range of equipment. Exhibitors, including Evonik, Ashland and Lucas Meyer will host one-hour sessions, allowing finished product manufacturers to learn from the experts who are driving innovation in cosmetic formulation. Only finished product manufacturers are eligible to take part to this workshop.

The new Sensory Bar, a feature to be introduced for the first time at in-cosmetics in Paris 2016, will house a ‘try-out’ area where visitors can test innovative textures and new sensations. Formulations created using new fragrances, tastes and state-of-the-art pigments will be displayed, aiming to capture the imagination of manufacturers and facilitate the development of new relationships and consumer products.

We hope the new features and formulations to be showcased at the Paris show will kick start some fantastic new product innovation and inspire our visitors,” said Cathy Laporte, Event Director.
