The 2021 edition of the in-cosmetics Global trade show will take place on the 5-7 October in Fira Barcelona, Spain, moving from the original April dates.
Reed Exhibitions, the organiser of the event dedicated to personal care ingredients, hopes this early announcement will allow time for the impact of COVID-19 across the world to stabilise and ensure that the event can continue its critical role in bringing the global industry together again, when safe to do so.
“After consulting with exhibitors and key stake-holders, we recognise that in order to hold an international event there needs to be more time to allow for the reopening of borders and lifting of travel restrictions,” said Roziani Zulkifli, Exhibition Director at Reed Exhibitions.
To build on what the organisers have learnt during the past months, the October face-to-face event will also include virtual features.
“Even though we have been unable to hold the live exhibition in 2020, it has been exciting to step into the digital world. We held five virtual events over the past seven months and the virtual in-cosmetics Formulation Summit coming up on the 17-19 November 2020 that will focus on formulation in the climate change age,” adds Zulkifli.
