As fragrance becomes a key driver of emotional engagement and product differentiation, in-cosmetics Asia will introduce a dedicated Fragrance Zone at its next edition, taking place at BITEC, Bangkok, from 3-5 November 2026.
The new feature reflects the expanding role of scent across personal care, homecare and pet care, as brands seek to create more distinctive sensory experiences. With the Asia Pacific fragrance market forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 9.54% between 2026 and 2031 [1], the region offers significant opportunities for fragrance innovation.
According to the organizers, more than 50 international suppliers will join the new area, where visitors can also test prototypes at the interactive Scent Bar, sponsored by Yian Essence (Guangdong), watch the inaugural Fragrance Awards, and hear from industry experts during Creators’ Forum sessions.
Among other highlights and innovations, visitors will discover Luzi’s new Urban Forest fragrance collection, inspired by the growing demand for wellness-led bathing rituals. Bell Flavors & Fragrances will also present its latest consumer insight showcase, exploring emerging fragrance territories centred on escapism, emotional wellbeing, authenticity, self-expression and joy.
Innovation will span both ingredient and formulation development as Ogawa & Co., Japan’s oldest flavours and fragrances specialist, will highlight long-lasting fragrance technologies, cooling fragrance solutions and scents featuring Japanese-sourced natural ingredients, while Great Nation will showcase formulations for personal care, homecare and wellness, including spa-inspired essential oils and cooling technologies. Natural ingredients will also be in focus, with Kanha Nature Oils presenting an extensive portfolio of botanical extracts, essential oils and hydrosols that reflect growing demand for plant-based fragrance solutions.
Within the Scent Bar, exhibitors including Argeville and Only Fragrances, will highlight first-hand how fragrance can strengthen product identity, create emotional impact and enhance consumer appeal.
Attendees can also explore The Evolution of Fragrance, an interactive journey through fragrance’s origins, its role in modern beauty and the innovations shaping its future, while discovering their own personalised Fragrance DNA. The experience will be guided and curated by fragrance expert Yves Dombrowsky, who brings more than three decades of international fragrance expertise and is known for combining emotional archetyping with scent storytelling.
“The launch of the Fragrance Zone reflects the growing interest we’re seeing from our visitors, with fragrance rising from the 16th most popular ingredient in 2024 to the 8th in 2025,” said Sarah Gibson, Event Director at in-cosmetics Asia. “Last year, our visitors were calling for more fragrance suppliers at the show, and we are responding to this demand by increasing the number of exhibitors in this area.”
