How did RPC manufacture the cap of Joy Forever

The luxury cap of Jean Patou’s Joy Forever (Designer Parfums), which was launch at the end of 2013, required the use of “advanced manufacturing and decoration processes”, said RPC.

The closure, which features a wide top and intricate detail on the stem to complement the square-curved bottle, is injection moulded in ABS [1]. The complex design involves the manufacture and assembly of several different components to achieve the overall effect, in particular electroplating and hot stamping with a double-sided film to create the golden finish.
