A leading international beauty distributor is looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Commercial to lead and grow its UK operation. This is a highly autonomous role where you will shape strategy, expand distribution and build long-term value across an exciting brand portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver the UK commercial strategy, driving revenue, margin and sustainable growth.
- Grow existing retailer accounts and open new retail, e-commerce and distribution opportunities.
- Pitch brands to buyers and commercial partners, negotiating profitable agreements.
- Review portfolio performance and identify emerging brands with strong UK market potential.
- Develop brand strategies covering positioning, pricing, distribution, marketing and launches.
- Lead commercially focused activations, events, sampling programmes and promotional campaigns.
- Oversee forecasting, stock availability, operational requirements and UK product compliance.
- Provide clear commercial reporting and build trusted relationships across international support teams.
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive commercial and business development experience within beauty distribution or a beauty brand environment, ideally across cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrance or wellness.
- Strong knowledge of UK retailers, ideally with an established network of relevant contacts.
- Excellent understanding of positioning, pricing, distribution, margins, launches and profitability.
- A proactive, resourceful and highly self-motivated approach, with the confidence to operate independently at senior level.
