On December 17, the Musée International de la Parfumerie in Grasse, France, hosted the graduation and awards ceremony concluding the training program of the 2025 class of the ASFO’s Grasse Institute of Perfumery (GIP).
Sponsored by Parfex, the 2025 cohort brings together students from ten countries across three continents. Through their creations, the class explored the lights of Grasse. All four teams were recognized for the quality of their fragrances, with the winning perfume, Ahir, standing out. Created by Guillem Herms (Spain), Chung-Yi Kuo (Taiwan), and Yenchi Lin (Taiwan), Ahir takes inspiration from the three iconic towers of Grasse, capturing the city’s brilliance and timelessness through a creative and sensitive olfactory approach, embodying the fusion of heritage and contemporary imagination.
At the initiative of the Grasse Town Hall, the perfume will soon be exhibited at the city’s Tourist Office, allowing the creation to be shared with a wider audience.
“This sponsorship was a truly human experience with passionate and dedicated talents, representing the new generation of perfumers,” highlighted Parfex in a statement.
“Parfex reaffirms its commitment to passing on Grasse’s perfumery know-how and congratulates all the graduates on their promising future internationally,” concluded the company.
