Graindorge, a French company specialising in the surface treatment of high quality plastic products and in the electroplating of plastic parts, in particular for the fragrance and cosmetics industries, has invested about EUR 300,000 in a new production unit enabling the company to use trivalent chromium.
“Trivalent chromium will certainly be the base for chromizing in the future, indeed it is friendly to the environment, which is not the case of traditional chromizing with hexavalent chromium,” Serge Brigot, Graindorge’s CEO, explains.
