On July 22, Slovenian glassmaker Steklarna Hrastnik will organize their first webinar on the reduction of glass weight for the packaging of cosmetics, perfumes and spirits.
According to the company, in the current context, there is a growing need for solutions that offer a holistic answer to the challenges that have emerged from the pandemic and the consecutive crisis.
“We have to adapt and try to mitigate both the pressures of smaller prices and environmental regulations. That is why we present weight optimization of glass as one of the solutions to this multi-faceted issue. New production methods make it possible to manufacture thinner, lightweight glass containers. Our lightweight glass technology guarantees that our sustainable glass bottles weight less while remaining as appealing, strong and stable as their heavier predecessors,” claims Steklarna Hrastnik.
