Ueli Utzinger has been appointed as Gerresheimer’s new Group Senior Director Communication & Marketing.
Effective December 1, 2021, he succeeds Jens Kürten, who is pursuing new opportunities after 12 years of work for the company. To ensure a smooth transition, Kürten will remain at the company to support his successor until February 18, 2022.
For the past 30 years, Utzinger has developed and successfully implemented marketing and communication concepts for international industrial and pharmaceutical companies, as well as financial service providers. In this context, he was also responsible for brand strategy, development and management for these companies.
Lately, Utzinger has been working for Gerresheimer as an external marketing and communication consultant, participating to the development and rolled out in spring 2021 of the company’s new visual presence and new corporate slogan “Innovating for a better life.”
