Geka, one of the world’s leading manufacturer of brushes, applicators and of complete packaging systems for the cosmetics industry, scooped “The Cosmopack Wall” award in the category technology at the latest edition of the Cosmoprof trade show in Bologna, Italy.
The awarded innovation - the “bottle-in-bottle marble mascara” - consists of two bottles for a high-quality thick-wall effect. Flowing marble streaks of three colours of the competition’s trend briefing, characterize the outer bottle.
The colours are directly added during the injection moulding process and achieve an additional depth effect. Two colours also feature metallic pigments. “Great attention at the POS is guaranteed as the streaks always disperse individually; thus making each unit unique. The cap matches with its silver metallization and the extra big fibre brush creates an astonishing lash volume result,” says Geka in a release.
