The Geka sales office in the USA has officially change its name to Geka USA Corporation, from Geka-Toly USA Corp. Jerry Sapienza continues as president of Geka USA Corp., the staff and contact information remains unchanged.
In parallel, the Geka Manufacturing Corporation, located in Elgin, Illinois, has begun packaging production for the USA market, with the first customer specific items shipping in December, 2008. The facility plans to continue to ramp up production throughout 2009, with a commitment to existing customers to supply the market locally.
“Both of these activities are in response market growth and the mutual objective with customers to shorten lead times and positively influence the complete supply chain,” the company said in release.
The Geka USA Corporation is a subsidiary of German-based manufacturer Geka Brush GmbH, which specialises in the development and production of mascara brushes, applicators and complete delivery systems for liquid colour cosmetics.
