Clothing, shoes and makeup were particularly popular at the opening of the sales period in France on January 6, 2016. More than 5.3 million people have strolled along the virtual shelves of these e-shops, representing a 2.3 million increase compared to average daily visits in January.
As far as demographics are concerned, the e-shoppers most likely to use these retail channels belonged to the highest socio-professional categories (37%) and were aged 35 to 49 years (31.9%).
