For Poison Girl, Dior chose the softness of Aptar’s Precious pump

Sprays are now fully part of a perfume’s marketing mix. Suppliers have developed a wide variety of pumps with features adapted to the various demands of brands and consumers.

For Poison Girl (launched in February 2016), which is aimed at a generation of seductive young women, Parfums Christian Dior thus wanted a new, more sensual image to go with it. For the spray, the brand opted for the « Precious » spray from Aptar Beauty + Home.

Indeed, the pump generates a spray combining gentle activation and continuous diffusion with a mist effect thanks to extremely fine particles.

Precious thus certainly meets the brand’s demands and provides a delicate floral mist for an irresistible touch,” explains Aptar.

Christian Dior’s legendary Poison has been reinvented in the form of a new signature fragrance intended for today’s rebellious, sexy woman.

« Poison Girl is immediately recognisable, an uncompromising signature, » underlines François Demachy, Perfumer at Dior.

With its enveloping mist, « Precious » is helping to underline the addictive effect of this bittersweet floral fragrance delicately spiced with tonka bean, a hint of vanilla and essence of Grasse rose.
