The fragrance house has opened its first Fine Fragrance Atelier in Latin America in Vila Madalena in the vibrant and trendy heart São Paulo, Brazil. The contemporary rooftop atelier provides the company’s customers with an exclusive, innovative space dedicated to perfumery culture, creativity and inspiration. The new space will welcome vistors “in a modern and inspiring environment to exchange experiences, encourage innovative partnerships and define the future of fragrances together with our customers,” explained Jerry Vittoria, President Fine Fragrance Worldwide at Firmenich.

The opening was attended by Jerry Vittoria an Armand de Villoutreys, President, Perfumery and Ingredients; renowned international perfumers including Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp and Principal Perfumer Frank Voelkl, as well as local perfumery stars Principal Perfumer Adilson Rato and Senior Perfumer Carmita Magalhães; and strategic Fine Fragrance customers and key influencers from Brazil.

We first established an office in Brazil almost 70 years ago, and now we are proud to offer our Brazilian customers a new, one-of-a-kind home for perfumery culture. Our Fine Fragrance Atelier will allow us to better collaborate and co-create together,” said Armand de Villoutreys.

The opening featured a complete sensorial experience, a ‘Carte Blanche Brasilis’ exhibition, which gave a blank canvas to perfumers to express their emotion, vision and intuition about the Brazilian soul within the universe of perfume.
