Fenty Beauty is expanding beyond makeup. The cosmetics brand, which was founded by superstar Rihanna, in partnership with Kendo Brands, has announced the launch of a lip scrub and lip balm - marking a departure from the label’s usual colour cosmetics offerings.

The balm, titled ’Pro Kissr Balm,’ can be worn alone or under lipstick, and contains shea and mango butters to keep the lips moisturized, while the ’Pro Kissr Scrub’ uses apricot seeds to exfoliate the lips. Both products are slated to launch on May 10.

The new duo definitely falls under the Fenty Beauty label, but rumours that Rihanna could eventually have her eye on the skincare industry have been circulating for weeks. Actually, the Barbadian talent and her teams have applied to trademark the name ’Fenty Skin’ with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The application specified that the trademark would be for "Medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care, and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume, and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools, and applicators."

The ’Pro Kissr’ launch drops at the same time as Fenty Beauty’s new summer makeup collection - a vibrant neon series dubbed ’Getting Hotter.’
