The 11th edition of Esxence - The Scent of Excellence, the event dedicated to indie fragrance brands, and the first edition of Experience Lab, dedicated to indie beauty brands, welcomed almost 7.890 guests.

The concomitant events, which were held from 25 to 28 April 2019 in Milan, Italy, took place simultaneously with the first Milano Fragrance Week, aimed at promoting the olfactory culture and the interest in perfume as an art form, through more than 25 events open to public and spread all over the city.

 25 events connected to Milano Fragrance Week

According to Esxence organizers, alcohol-based “artistic perfumery” accounts for about 10%of the global perfumery market. In Italy, the total turnover for artistic perfumery passed the EUR250 million mark in 2017, corresponding to 12% of net sales of the national alcohol-based perfumery market and to 2.5% of the total Italian beauty business.
