The U.S. prestige beauty brand, known for fragrance classics such as White Linen and Pleasures, will launch Glimmer Eau de Parfum in August, an amber floral scent with gourmand accents.
A gourmand first
Through this first new fragrance since Beautiful Magnolia in 2021, Estée Lauder is aiming to fill a key gap in its portfolio by introducing a gourmand scent designed to appeal to Gen Z and millennial prestige fragrance consumers.
Despite the strong momentum of gourmand fragrances, now among the market’s most powerful growth drivers, the brand had remained absent from this key olfactory segment until now.
Crafted by IFF perfumers Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Jean-Marc Chaillan, Glimmer unfolds around a rose macaron accord, enriched by a raspberry mousse note and the comforting sweetness of vanilla bean.
The new fragrance will launch in early August 2026 in the U.S., U.K. and Australia, priced at US$130 for 50ml and US$160 for 100ml, ahead of its global rollout.
Hailee Steinfeld
To connect with a younger generation of consumers beyond its traditional customer base, Estée Lauder has chosen actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld as the face of Glimmer.
“Hailee is the embodiment of what Glimmer represents; she is confident, has a contagious sense of joy, and understands the power of connecting with her community,” said Justin Boxford, Global Brand President, Estée Lauder. “Consumers have grown up with Hailee and have followed her journey from a young actress to an accomplished multi-hyphenate artist and cultural force. Her authenticity, creativity, and ability to inspire audiences across generations make her the perfect ambassador for Glimmer.”
Glimmer’s global campaign starring Hailee Steinfeld will roll out on July 30, 2026, across television, print, digital, in-store and out-of-home platforms.
