On May 17, 2013 was held in Berlin the 21st ceremony of the Duftstars, the name of the FiFi Awards in Germany, which honours the best launches of the year. More than 850 guests from the industry and the media attended this event, one of the most prestigious perfume awards in Germany.

According to Bernd Beetz, former CEO of Coty, who received the Personality of the Year Award 2013, the event was "a model for all other events of the Fragrance Foundation across the world."

The President of the Fragrance Foundation in Germany, as well as CEO Martin Ruppmann won over the charming and quick-witted presenter Barbara Schöneberg to present the event once again.
