The fragrance and beauty ingredients company is expanding its Middle East presence with the launch of Po ONE Lab, a new fine fragrance creative space developed in partnership with luxury fragrance concept store Villa Po ONE in Riyadh.

Designed as an innovation and inspiration hub, Po ONE Lab is designed to support fragrance creation through experimentation, storytelling, and cultural exploration. The space brings together ingredients, creative tools, and olfactive narratives, reflecting dsm-firmenich’s strategic focus on regional relevance and long-term investment in Saudi Arabia.

Our collaboration with Po ONE Lab represents a new chapter in our focus of investment in Saudi Arabia – a focus where creativity, cultural expression and innovation will converge,” said Olivier Viejo, VP for Fine Fragrance, IMAT (India, Middle East, Africa, Turkey) at dsm-firmenich. “It is a space meant to inspire, where the richness of regional traditions meets the possibilities of modern fragrance design.

Mr. Saeed Al-Kayar, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Villa Po ONE, added that the Lab will enhance client engagement by providing a permanent platform to share expertise in fragrance and luxury.

Saudi-inspired fragrance collection

To coincide with the opening, dsm-firmenich is introducing an exclusive collection of seven fragrances, each inspired by a distinctive Saudi destination. The collection draws on the country’s landscapes and cultural heritage, translating regional olfactive traditions into contemporary fine fragrance expressions.

The fragrances reference locations including AlUla, Riyadh, the Red Sea, Taif, Fayfa, Al Qassim, and Hail, forming an olfactive overview of the Kingdom. The collection was created by dsm-firmenich perfumers Honorine Blanc, Hamid Merati Kashani, Carmita Magalhães, and Abdulkader Fattouh, emphasizing the company’s focus on storytelling as a value driver in fragrance development.

Po ONE Lab opens with a two-day program in February 2026, beginning with a private inauguration for industry partners, media, and VIP guests, followed by a public exhibition. The initiative aligns with the company’s broader strategy to combine local cultural insight with global perfumery expertise, further positioning Riyadh as an emerging hub for fragrance innovation.
