Dow Corning 3901 Liquid Satin Blend can be used in water-based or anhydrous systems, and can be cold processed and used to achieve clear formulations. It is also listed in the Catalogue of Cosmetics Ingredients Used in China.

This ingredient delivers what customers have asked for - multi-functionality in formulations with a full sensory experience in addition to great performance,” said Verna Talcott, North America Skin Care market leader.

According to Dow Corning, the luxe ingredient can enable differentiated products in the marketplace from existing solutions that have a silky or cushioned feel commonly used in beauty care, particularly for millennials who desire tailored products that deliver delightful experiences.
