On Thursday 22 October she will take part in an exclusive discussion on: “Chantal Thomass, or the art of reinvention”. She will talk about her favourite theme: the rules of design, which have brought her success and fame and yet which she reinvents for each of her creations.
Chantal Thomass took her first steps in fashion at the end of the ’60s. At that time—when anything was possible—she founded her “Ter et Bantine” prêt-à-porter brand and laid the foundation for her style: feminine, bold, defiant and unexpected. The young fashion designer experimented with everything and dived wholeheartedly into the creative madness of the ’70s. Her bohemian, funny outlook immediately appealed to the stars of the era and the most sophisticated boutiques.
Her creative world would gradually open up to include decorative objects for the home, eyewear, perfumes, candles, furniture and even iPhone cases! Every experiment is a precise and consistent variant of her brand.
