Countess Mary von Faber-Castell, the wife of Count Anton-Wolfgang von Faber-Castell, CEO of Faber-Castell AG, will be appointed to the Management Board of Faber-Castell AG as of January 1st, 2016. She will join the board as its fifth member and be in charge of the Cosmetic Division which she has been heading as Managing Director during the last years.

Thanks to her great commitment, the Cosmetic Division has successfully evolved and gained strategic importance within the Faber-Castell Group, alongside the Brand Division of Writing and Drawing implements. In view of the growing strategic role, the Supervisory Board considers it crucial for the Cosmetic Division to be represented in the Management Board of Faber-Castell AG,” said the company in a release.

Faber-Castell is one of the most renowned German brands and the world’s biggest manufacturer of graphite and colour pencils. The company generates a group turnover of about 600 million EUR and markets its brand in over 120 countries, employing 7,500 people worldwide.
