Coty is launching of Kylie Skin in Europe, in partnership with Germany-headquartered multichannel premium beauty retailer Douglas.
Created in May 2019, Kylie Skin quickly became a top-selling skin care brand in the US. With Douglas, the brand will roll out in full distribution to over 2,000 doors in 25 countries.
Coty took controlling stake in Kylie Cosmetics in November 2019 by acquiring a 51% ownership of the company for USD 600 million. Last January, the group assigned to former Douglas executive Christoph Honnefelder the task to build and further develop Kylie’s existing beauty business into a global powerhouse brand.

Douglas will offer six different products from the Kylie Skin line, including the Foaming Face Wash, Walnut Face Scrub, Face Moisturizer, Eye Cream, Vanilla Milk Toner and Vitamin C Serum. All products are vegan, gluten free, paraben and sulfate free.
Named third most influential global beauty personality in a recent study from Cosmetify, Kylie Jenner counts 178 million followers on Instagram, making her one of the world’s 10 most followed personalities of the social network, together with soccer player Christiano Ronaldo, singer Ariana Grande or her older sister Kim Kardashian. Her strong presence on social networks has greatly contributed to the success of her brand, which debuted in Novembers 2015 with the Kylie Lip Kit, then exclusively sold on the brand’s eCommerce site KylieCosmetics.com. Kylie Cosmetics has expanded the collection beyond lip products to include offerings like eyeliners, eyeshadows, blushes, highlighters, concealers, brushes, and makeup bags as well as creating limited edition sets launched throughout the year. As cosmetics and skincare go hand in hand, Kylie Skin launched online in May 2019.
