Eventually, there will be no 2020 edition for the Cosmoprof North America trade show! The organizers of the leading B2B beauty event have decided to postpone the 18th edition to 2021, at the Mandalay Bay Convention center, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“Given the unprecedented health situation the world is currently facing with the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to ensure the safety of our exhibitors, attendees, staff, and event vendors, the show will take place June 27-29, 2021,” they announced today in a statement.
“Our commitment remains to providing a show environment that is both productive and safe, and postponing will allow us to meet our community’s expectations,” commented Steve Sleeper, Executive Director of the Professional Beauty Association.
In the coming months, Cosmoprof North America will be working on launching a virtual trade show in the fall to connect current exhibitors with buyers, distributors, retailers, and press that is used to visit the event.
Having to cope with the same difficulties, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has also cancelled its 2020 edition, replacing it by a digital event - dubbed WeCosmoprof - which will be broadcasted on July 4-10, 2020.
